KAIBO

A DeFi wallet with investment options

The Sui blockchain offers users a fast, low-cost (low transaction fees) and secure platform for digital transactions and DeFi applications.

A new DeFi wallet was to be developed for this blockchain to provide Sui enthusiasts with an easy way to invest Sui and earn profits.

Already during the development of the app, an NFT campaign was developed and the upcoming product was presented via Twitter and Discord.

DEFI WALLET WITH SIMPLE USER GUIDANCE

Design a simple user interface for a non-custodial wallet for the Sui protocol. Users can easily select and invest in a DeFi strategy that matches their risk profile within the SuiNetwork ecosystem.

DESIGN OF AN NFT COLLECTION

Parallel to the development of the DeFi Wallet app, an NFT collection was developed, which comprised 2,150 NFTs in four different categories.

This NFT collection is a group of digital artworks that are created and sold as non-fungible tokens (NFTs) on the Sui blockchain. Each piece in the collection is unique and can prove ownership, authenticity and rarity.

STEAMPUNK JELLYFISH

The Sui blockchain is inspired by the Chinese word for water.

The idea for the NFTs was to create a creature that could potentially live in the depths of the ocean. A small, transparent jellyfish with mechanical attributes reminiscent of the steampunk movement.

For the NFTs, 4 different layers were used - background, jellyfish, accessory and goggles with and without laser. These 4 layers were each created in 8 variations.

With the help of an algorithm, the basic elements were randomly combined, whereby the rarity of the occurrence of individual attributes could be determined.

This resulted in 2,150 unique NFTs, which were recorded on the blockchain through a minting process.

The NFTs could be purchased via a landing page for Sui and promised benefits in the app.

RESULT

A first MVP was built, which could be downloaded for testing via Testflight from April.

Project period: January - April 2024
